Magic Mushrooms

Also known as: Magic Mushrooms are also called Shrooms, Mushies.

Looks like: Magic mushrooms are picked in the wild.

How it is taken: Magic mushrooms are eaten raw, cooked in food or stewed in a drink.

The effects: The 'trip' can last around four hours with magic mushrooms, the users sense of reality may be distorted.

Downside: Can complicate mental health problems. A poisonous mushroom could be eaten by mistake. Magic Mushrooms can also cause sickness.

Class: n/a

The Law: It is not illegal to possess raw magic mushrooms. However, if they are prepared for use (dried or stewed) then they become a Class A drug.
