Cocaine & Crack
Also known as: C, Charlie, Coke, Snow. Crack is a type of cocaine that is smoked.
Looks like: Cocaine is a white powder. Crack comes as whitish lumps or ‘rocks’.
How it is taken: Cocaine can be snorted, rubbed into gums. Crack: smoked, injected
The effects: A sense of well being, confidence and alertness for about 30 minutes. Crack is a shorter but more intense ‘high’.
Downside: Cocaine and Crack can be addictive with users trying to recreate their first ‘high’. Users can feel tired and depressed afterwards. Can be an expensive habit and hard to control, particularly with Crack.
