Adult Alcohol Services:
James Kingham Project (JKP)
James Kingham Project (JKP): This service is for those who are experiencing problems due to their own use of alcohol and for individuals who are affected by other people’s alcohol use. JKP offers a range of services such as late night opening hours, private individual sessions with a named worker, one to one counselling, practical support with everyday issues, relaxation and aromatherapy, self help groups, social events, outreach, women only sessions and much more.
Care Co-ordination
Care Co-ordination: A Social Service support service. Care co-ordination will plan your care package and will help you to access other services. For clients with a range of ‘life issues’ including those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and others that are in contact with social care and health services.
Specialist Substance Misuse Service
Specialist Substance Misuse Service: A substance misuse service in Bedford aimed at those with mental health problems and drug/alcohol issues who are needing a higher degree of support. The specialist service aims to reduce and where possible eliminate the physical, social and psychological harm associated with the misuse of Drugs and or Alcohol. The service provides group work, individual key-working and psychological treatment.
