Young People

young peopleWhatever you choose to do with your life, it helps to have the information to make those choices.
The info on this site gives you what you need to know about drugs and alcohol. It will help you make informed choices about how you live your life, support you to look after your friends and give you some useful places to contact if you would like to know more.

What goes on?

We have the job of doing what we can to make sure that young people get the support they need. This means we try and make sure children & young people in Bedfordshire schools get drug & alcohol education, help children & young people whose parents, families or carers use drugs & alcohol, assist young people in Bedfordshire who are at most risk of developing drug & alcohol problems and support young people who are already using drugs & alcohol to reduce their use and stop using them all together. We help promote FRANK and you can find out more about what we are doing to support local young people by visiting Bedfordshire County Council or what the Government is doing for young people.

We’d also like to hear what you think about drugs and alcohol and about what young people in Bedfordshire need, so get in touch.
